This is my current band. Rezistor was born in Constanta, Romania, in November 2008, after we decided to quit our former bands in order to create more aggressive music. After years of playing in various bands, it was time to go back to basics and simply enjoy writing and playing music, rather than getting caught in technicalities and all sorts of stuff that drive the musician away from the real purpose of being in a band: enjoying music.
The band plays thrash "seasoned" metal; the songs are simple and stripped of all the unnecessary "gimmicks" in order to get back to the core of metal music: the perfect rhythms for headbanging.
The current line up is: Eugen - vocals, Alex - guitar, Vali - bass, Cristi - drums.
Current activity: After putting together a number of songs, Rezistor started in May 2010 the recording of the debut album. "Beware the Silent" is Rezistor's response to the society we live in: one governed by corrupted laws that chain the individual and alienate him from the fundamental human values. The album features 8 songs: 7 with English lyrics and one in Romanian, with powerful and introspective lyrics. The cover artwork was created by Costin Chioreanu (Twilight13Media) and it represents a very personal and unique representation of the album's lyrical content and atmosphere. "Beware the Silent" is selfproduced, with a set intention of obtaining a raw old school sound, as close as possible to an actual live rehearsal performance, without losing sound clarity. The band doesn't care about musical trends and prefers to remain loyal to the roots of old-school metal, and that is the foundation "Beware the Silent" was built upon. The album will be shortly released in Romania, as a DIY edition.

My experimental electronica project. The 1st Telurica album, entitled "Anthems of Desolation", was recorded (in 1 week!) and released in January 2003. The genre was at that time noise ambiental: very dark, quite depressive, the album was full of strange noises & demented sounds. "Anthems of Desolation" was licensed to Black Orchid Prods. (Slovakia), for a MC limited version, featuring a brand new front cover designed by IngerAlb.
The 2nd Telurica album, entitled "The Calling of the Battlehorn", was recorded in March 2003. It marked a new step in Telurica's musical evolution: the songs were a mixture of symphonic, ambient, and minimal industrial, built on deeper & more complex structures. Also, for the first time, some live bass tracks were recorded in order to complete the sound and create a more organic feeling. This 2nd album was released on July the 7th 2004, and it was reviewed by magazines & ezines such as: Metalfan, Maximum Rock, Heavy Metal Magazine and Domina Futura, and several songs were aired by Radio Orion (Fetesti), "Face Of Freedom" (a radio show hosted by Dj Hypnos, on BFE FM), and "Muzica grea" radio show on Pro Fm.
"The Calling of the Battlehorn" title song was included on a compilation cd released by Dark Romania (the first - and so far the only - Romanian online gothic community), entitled "Dark Romania Compilation", which featured 8 Romanian bands and consisted of 14 songs. It also included a multimedia section, with infos, web addresses, pictures and 2 videos. Also, "Telescope", a previously unreleased Telurica song was included on "Compendiu de muzica electronica", a compilation cd released by F.I.R. Records (Romania), which included among others: Mater Hades, The Beyond, Narkoleptik, Discordless, and Wide Open Wings.
In fall 2004 Telurica signed a 3 years contract with Trinity Records Hong Kong, who was supposed to release both Telurica albums in digi cd format, including new cover artwork and extended bonus tracks. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned, and the contract was cancelled due to Trinity's lack of respect and interest towards Telurica (countless excuses not to release the albums as scheduled, total lack of comunication, etc).
In spite of all this, Telurica didn't surrender! In spring 2005 I finished the recordings of the 3rd Telurica album, entitled "Discordant Harmony" (over 35 minutes of music, 8 brand new songs). The sound changed again, going further into electronic music, and losing almost all the symphonic elements. This seems to be the most complex and diverse material so far, including a lot of drum patterns and even some tribal percussion. The album was released on July the 11th 2005 (limited edition: 100 copies only) in a DVD case and features incredibly beautiful artwork professionally created by Costin Chioreanu.
In December 2006 Telurica made available to the public via Internet an EP called "Trees Keep Growing", recorded in 2004. This is the "missing link" in Telurica's musical evolution from "The Calling of the Battlehorn" to "Discordant Harmony". It features five new songs and "Letter to Roxanne" is dedicated to Valentin's wife, Roxana.
Telurica returned in October 2007 with a brand new aggressive EP: "Love Corrodes the Circuits". 4 tracks consisting of alert rhythms and industrial noises arranged in the typical style of the band. It was an Internet only release available for download for a limited period of time from the band's MySpace page.
The latest Telurica EP material is entitled "Little Yellow Sound Machine" and was created as an homage to Korg's newest creation: Kaossilator - 'the pocket synth'. Out of a total of 4 songs, "Lullaby To Sabine" is a very personal one and is dedicated to my baby daughter, Sabina, born on the 15th of June 2008 :)

It was my first attempt at creating industrial rock. The band had only two members: I was playing bass guitar (plus all the synth, samples & sounds) and Bat (Magica) on guitar.
The 1st CD, entitled "A Taste of the Things to Come..." (selfproduced), consisting of 4 instrumental songs, was released in 2002. It was reviewed by magazines & ezines such as: Kogaionon, Hmm.ro, Atmospheric Zine, Dark Romania, Shapeless Webzine, Tempest, Flowing Mist, Maximum Rock, and some of the songs were played by radio stations such as: Radio 3 Romania Tineret, Radio Orion, Radio Dada, Radio Terra Sat, Activ Fm, Radio Minisat Targoviste.
The 2nd CD, entitled "Deadly Games" (selfproduced), was recorded between May - October 2003 and consisted of 4 instrumental songs. The sound remained close to the one developped on "A Taste..", but this time more electro elements were added. "Deadly Games" could have been considered a suitable soundtrack for computer shooting games, such as Unreal, Half Life, or Quake. In fact, the song titles were actually named after some Quake III MODS: "Weapons Factory", "Hunter",
"True Combat", "Urban Terror". It was released on July the 7th 2004, and it was reviewed by magazines & ezines such as: Metalfan, Maximum Rock, Heavy Metal Magazine, Pyro Music eZine, Angor - romanian industrial portal, Domina Futura, Neurozine and Premonition Magazine, and also some of the songs were played on Radio Orion (Fetesti) and on "Face of Freedom" radio show on BFE FM, hosted by Dj Hypnos, and also included in the playlist of the "Industrial Thursday Night",
an event hosted by Silencio Bar (Bucharest - Romania) and presented by Dj Hypnos.
In July 2005 an exclusive international edition of "Deadly Games" was released by Dead Sexy Records (GB). It featured impressive new artwork created by Costin Chioreanu. Shortly after, the electronic act Discordless remixed an IDF song.

Another of my electronica projects. Started in May 2003, this project continued the work started on the 1st Telurica material, taking the music to a more experimental level. The aim was to create unusual electronic music, by combining a wide variety of sounds and styles, from ambient, to pure industrial, and even tribal.
The 1st EP, entitled "Embryo", features 4 tracks. The concept of "Embryo" was that when a human being is born, some paths of fate open to him. Each song represented such a path: the way of the mind, of the politics, of the theory, or the way of the spirit.
The 2nd EP, entitled "Pozitronic", was recorded in 2004 and features 4 songs: D-Programmed, Error 404, Data Transfer, and Neural Net. The music prooved to be more diverse and groovy, ranging from electronic to industrial. "Pozitronic" is the result of the colaboration between myself and Damon (Narkoleptik). This time the songs were more computer orientated, trying to express through music the "language" of the "machines". Initially 7 songs were composed, but since some of them didn't seem to fit in the cd's atmosphere, in the end only 4 songs were selected.
Both these CDs were not released as "official editions"; instead these were given to close friends and colaborators.
"The Shaman", a song from Project 333's 1st cd, was included on F.I.R.'s "Compendiu de muzica electronica", a cd compilation which introduced the Romanian underground electronic music to the world. It consisted of 17 tracks performed by 15 artists (such as: Mater Hades, The Beyond, Wide Open Wings, Narkoleptik, Discordless, etc.) from different areas such as IDM, Industrial, Ambient/Dark Ambient, Triphop, Breakbeat etc.
I WAS ALSO A MEMBER OF THE FOLLOWING BANDS:
MAGICA [2002 - 2008]
WEB [1998 - 2000]
SPIN [1993 - 1998]
CELESTIAL SANCTUARY [1995 - 1996]
